In this overview, we bring you the most important information about DJI’s new products, including their main features and benefits, and how these updated devices differ from their predecessors.

DJI Goggles, regardless of their version, have become an excellent solution for those drone enthusiasts who would like to not only expand their piloting experience, but also get new sensations from flying, for example, imagining themselves in the pilot’s seat of a real aircraft. With each new version of the glasses, DJI, as is customary, makes updates and significant changes to the characteristics of the new product. This allows you to make the new gadget more convenient to use and expand its functionality.

The new Goggles Integra goggles feature 1080p progressive scan screens which, combined with Micro-OLED technology, offer the user a higher quality viewing experience. And the use of proprietary signal transmission technology provides ultra-low latency video transmission.

Construction and design features

It is no coincidence that DJI Goggles received the addition of “Integra” in the name. It emphasizes the special, integrated, design of the gadget. This is a new headband design with a built-in battery. This solution, along with folding antennas, helped to get rid of annoying and inconvenient cables and make the whole structure as light as possible (as far as possible). The total weight of the goggles does not exceed 410 g (including folding antennas). Two screens, as already noted, created by Micro-OLED technology, with a resolution of 1080p, brightness up to 700 nits and a refresh rate up to 100 Hz, provide a realistic viewing experience. The glasses have a comfortable fit. The user can adjust them to fit their head.

Main characteristics

The updated features of the DJI Goggles Integra goggles expand the pilot’s options and make the operation more comfortable. The gadget has support for DJI O3 + video transmission technology with ultra-low signal delay of only 30 ms. When using glasses in an area with interference, the gadget can automatically select the most appropriate frequency range. That being said, there are good anti-jamming capabilities for flights without too much trouble.

Connection and mobile application

The DJI Goggles Integra goggles are compatible with the popular DJI Fly mobile app. If you connect glasses to this application, you will be able to display video or photo in real time not only on glasses displays, but also on your smartphone. And ultimately, it will allow you to share your piloting and aerial filming experience with your network followers. In addition to the DJI Avata FPV drone, the goggles are also compatible with the DJI O3 Air Unit, DJI Motion Controller, DJI RC Motion 2, DJI FPV Remote Controller 2, and the DJI FPV Air Unit Module. When connecting and selecting various functions, take into account the requirements of local laws and regulations.

Power supply

One of the most important features of the new DJI Goggles Integra is DJI’s decision to integrate a battery into the headband. This should provide more comfort for users. At the same time, the battery capacity is designed for 2 hours of battery life of the glasses, which is quite enough for long flights. If possible, you can also use the glasses and connect them to the charger at the same time. In this case, you can engage in first-person piloting for at least a whole day. The battery capacity is 2450 mAh, the maximum charging power is 15 watts.
